Did you know that you can play Pengo (and lots of those old arcade games)
at home?
The Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator plays a terrifying number of
different games; the full collection’s up to about 40GB compressed these
days.

The different “sets” have different mazes and difficulties as described on
the Wikipedia page:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pengo_(video_game)#Versions
The ROM file is pretty small (under 50k). Put the file in the ROMS folder inside the MAME UI folder. You don’t need to uncompress it; MAME does it when you play the game.
Once you have things copied into place, open MAME UI, and type “Pengo” in the search bar; it should come up in the list. By default, the 5 key puts a coin in, and the 1 key selects 1-player mode; you can probably figure everything else out.
