Message: Have Nick go to Keene state , Mike Carano style, and speak to the college students about current events. Also make sure Nick gives all of them P&TG cards, so the show’s hot demographic can expand.

Message: Hi!

Are you averse to listening to country music? If not, you may be

amused to know that a Canadian musician called Corb Lund has some

songs highly apropos to situations you people get into: “Bible on the

Dash” may just be the solution to Andrew’s constant cop problems (or

the cops’ constant Andrew problems, if you want to look at it that

way). “Time to Switch to Whiskey”, for obvious reasons. “Gettin’ Down

on the Mountain” is not that relevant, but it’s a good song and

contains references to firearms. Oh, and there’s “The Truck Got Stuck”

to go with your driveway woes, though I feel obligated to disclose

that it talks about mud, not snow. Yeah, come to think of it, the

links are a little tenuous. And you probably hate country music (it

may even be that the reaction to country is exactly where Puke got his

nickname). What was I even thinking, assuming that you might want to

play any of the above songs on your show?

Ashamedly yours, Johannes, fan of the show

Message: Nick has made the correct choice in not reading his dad’s book. His father is not as prudish as Nick and spares no details!

From: Nik M.

Message: I listen to episodes out of order sometimes, so I only recently heard the break show for episode 168 where Nick talks about a Facebook message I sent him weeks or months prior. In that message, I asked him: “What’s the best way to contact Brett to see about getting him the recordings?” I think Nick misinterpreted the message, and I’m not surprised given that the context was long gone by then. I was referring to the impromptu recordings I made of the “non-episode” that didn’t happen because Nick forgot the recording equipment. After I made those recordings, I asked who to send them to, and it was suggested (I think by Puke) that I send them to Brett. In addition to trying to contact Brett on my own I sent Nick that quick message in case he had a better, faster way. That’s all it was.
