Message: Hey P&tG, I’ve heard you all know lots about cars so here’s a car question. How fast can you safely speed through semi-residential areas when the posted limit is 30mph and you might be on your cell phone? A story in my local paper recounts an accident where a white car traveling eastbound on a major one way passes from business to residential at 60mph and utterly destroys a southbound passenger van at an intersection. Would the white car have enough time to brake at that speed? Is it the van’s driver’s fault for being a dumbass and not checking the intersection first? And does Andrew still have that bread route?
