Message: Hey gang. My name is is Reggie and I live in California. I’m a professional rapper and part-time security enforcement officer. I’m planning a move to New Hampshire and was wondering if you need a security guard for the studio. I have many years of radio/podcast studio experience. I would even be willing to work for free if you bring tacos to the studio and let me lay down some of my sweet, sweet rhymes.

It’s only free for the next couple days, I think. You should probably download it so your livers don’t explode.
Cheers fuckers!

Message: Hey guys,
Long time listener, first time emailer… Been listening to you guys regularly for a few months, but I’ve picked y’all up on LRN way back in the day(I don’t know when). I typically listen to more “intellectual” podcasts like School Sucks, but that shit gets boring after a bit. You guys have become my favorite to just sit down and veg out to.
If you end up reading this email on the show, I give full permission to make fun of me.
Anyway, I’ve actually learned a bit from the car talk. I’ve never been into cars that much, never understood what my redneck buddies were talking about until the last year when I started taking an interest. I’m 17 and need a car to have any independence at all, and cars are actually pretty fucking cool. I feel like I’m learning quickly between my buddies, the issues you guys talk about, and the new(to me) jeep I bought 2 months ago.
I bought a Jeep Cherokee 1993 4cylinder, with part time 4w drive, automatic. I got it for $1200 with 120k miles on it. Pretty good deal, but still kind of a piece of shit. I’ve had my issues with it, I’ve broken it down twice(in the first 3 weeks) and it’s got a few problems, most to do with little things like doors and seat belts. I ended up having to replace the radiator(leaked), did it myself, super easy. I took it 4wheeling in the woods, knocked a wire loose onto my drive line, rubbed through the casing and whenever I moved an inch forward it’d short out and kill the car. Fixed all that shit, now I have an issue with my transmission. Nobody I talk to really knows what’s up, I haven’t taken it to a mechanic because I’m cheap and I don’t want to put that much into it. I’m wondering if Andrew will have any ideas.
Started with one of my rookie mistakes, when changing my engine oil this week, I didn’t look up which oil pan was which. I drained my tranny fluid instead of my engine oil. I didn’t realize this until after I put too much engine oil in. Checked the levels, had way too much engine oil and no tranny fluid. Realized my dumbass mistake, and drained a bunch of the oil and then filled the transmission back up. I made sure everything was at the right level this time and I put the right fluids in the right places. But I’ve realized I must’ve fucked something up, because it’s not catching the gears right.
It takes a second or two to shift into gear, sometimes longer. I start the car, put it into reverse, and sometimes it won’t catch, and I just sit there. Same thing with drive. Sometimes when I stop, it does it too. I’ll have it in drive, pull to a stop light, and it’ll sit there after I let go of the brake.
I’ve tested 3rd gear and 1-2(that’s the settings) and they didn’t have the problem. But I’ve only tested them once or twice and it’s not every time that the issue comes up.
If I ramp up the RPMs to 3k it’ll catch but makes a terrible clunk sound. If I wait a second or two after shifting into drive or reverse, I can feel it catch and it’ll go fine. I try to wait until it catches, I’m worried I’ll break something if I floor it. But I sometimes can’t at stop signs, because somebody’s behind me. Like I said, it’s not all the time, sometimes it does just fine.
So what the fuck’s the deal? What’d I do to it?
I’m gonna do some research online, but I’ve been busy and out of town since it started happening. I was listening to you guys tonight, and I figured I’d throw it to y’all to see what Andrew would say and give somebody else to make fun of about cars other than Nick. Maybe Puke knows something too. I doubt Nick’ll know what it is, but if he somehow comes up with the answer, I’ll subscribe to the PCL for a month. Just to make it interesting…
Anyway, I appreciate the entertainment. Keep it up.
Rock on!
Nick the Yak Kid

Message: Hey PATG,
I made the comment to your Facebook page about getting some PATG shirts done. I completely understand if you guys aren’t interested in mass producing shirts but I work at a screen printing shop where we have a digital printer that makes printing a couple shirts fast and affordable. The only catch is that it only works on a white or light colored tee. If you guys send me a couple files of your logo I would be more than happy to deck you guys out in free shirts! As long as you’re ok with me making one for myself that is. So yeah, send me what sizes you guys wear and I can put something together. I fuckin love your show and it would be awesome if you wore the shirts I made during a show or something! Thanks for entertaining my stupid idea, hope to hear back from you guys.
Probably the only fan you have.

Message: It is no secret that you blokes never fail to have a cheap laugh at the expense of those less fortunate than you, with animals being no exception. Despite this unfortunate fact, you’ll get no whinging from me about the quality of your guests!
Given that animal conservation is so dear to my heart I must say that spunk Mark Edge stands as a shining example to the people of New Hampshire on how to approach those beautiful little things in the animal kingdom.
If my daughter was a pig, I’d trust her in the care of Mark Edge’s top-notch facilities. She’s a brilliant little Sheila, and she’d give him a fair go.
But if your mate Ian wants to hang out with ANYBODY’s daughter, tell ‘er boomerang back home faster than a dingo’s breakfast! Oh just kidding, he’s a swell bastard, and pretty good with animals himself. Certainly good at NAMING animals. Certainly better than YOU, Andrew!
