best of luck either way

Message: Hey guys, I live in the Boise, ID area (Nampa specifically).  I highly recommend going through Stanley, ID on your way to Montana.  It’s a beautiful small valley with impressive jagged mountains on one side (Sawtooth Mountains).  I would take the route that starts out going north on highway 55 from the Boise area and then makes a right towards Garden Valley at Banks (Banks is just couple buildings, not a town).  Its a 2.5hr drive that will have you following a couple nice rivers for a good stretch in the beginning and you’ll end up deep in the mountains at Stanley.  Last reliable gas before you hit Stanley is going to be at the Chevron in Garden Valley.  No matter what direction you take from Stanley, the views will be great.

Some eating recommendations for the Nampa-Meridian-Boise area:

Cafe Zupas (Soups, Salads, Sandwiches)

Goodwood BBQ (meats, burgers, etc.)

Cafe Rio (Mexican taco/burritio place kind of like Chipotle)

I’m sure there’s some hot hipster dining in Downtown Boise, but I’m simple and hate crowds like Puke so I steer clear.

Good luck on the trip!  I’ll be out of town Aug 19-23rd, but if you guys have any questions or run into trouble while in the area and it happens to fall outside of those dates, feel free to call or text.

Message: Hello,

I stuffed up recently and I think you might know it. Do you know how I can find more information on how much I stuffed up and would you be willing to share it with me?

Keep up the great work.

Regards, David

Message: A or an is determined phonetically. In America, we pronounce the h in historic. A historic is correct and an historic is not.

In Great Britain, sometimes the h is dropped which is a throwback to earlier timed. So, to be cool in Great Britain you might say an historic. Or an hundred.

In America, it’s just hyper correction.
